Your Coaching Solutions

One-on-One Coaching

This will be an in-depth, deep-dive partnership to ensure that you know your project risks better than anyone – even the “experts” that are advising you.

Here’s how we’ll do that:

  • A 1-on-1 kick-off call to start off strong: We’ll start with a detailed private call that will identify your personal pain points, and together we’ll develop a strategy to tackle your biggest risks throughout the life of your project. We’ll plan out our six-month program, and I’ll come prepared with lessons learned from similar types of the countless projects I’ve analyzed in my career.
  • NO SENSITIVE DATA NEEDED: It’s important to note that you do NOT need to provide any sensitive or classified information – and I don’t even want to see it! I’ve dealt with so many projects in my career that we’ll be able to identify the key risks and mitigation strategies without going beyond themes and publicly available information. I’m not interested in getting anyone in privacy-related trouble, myself included!
  • Two private coaching calls each month: Including your kick-off call, we’ll have two monthly 1-on-1 video calls. On these calls, I’ll coach you through whatever you need help with — whether it’s the identification of your real risks (not the high-level corporate ones!), presenting to your oversight/governance committee, working with partners and stakeholders, and/or keeping any eye and a pulse on your project needs as you drive further and further away from your launch.
  • On-going, in-depth personal feedback: Our coaching calls will be incredibly powerful and productive, but what happens if you have an urgent question that falls in between our scheduled chats? No worries, because I’ll be there for you every day for email queries, concerns, and overarching thoughts. Think of me as your partner in getting your project safely across the finish line.
  • Supplemental trainings: You’ll also get free life-time enrolment to my future course and training offerings. You’ll have first access to every one of them – without paying a single additional penny.

Group Mastermind & Coaching

This is the ideal choice for senior leaders who not only want high-end coaching, but also want to learn from other leaders’ experiences as they tackle their own challenges.

Here’s what you get in Group Mastermind:

  • A 1-on-1 kick-off call: We’ll start with a private call, which we’ll use to map out what we’ll focus on during your time in the Mastermind. That usually includes key constraints that you’re facing, and the parts of your project that make you most nervous. Out of this call we’ll be able to highlight areas of improvement in your current project management, a custom mitigation strategy, and a step-by-step action plan.
  • NO SENSITIVE DATA NEEDED: It’s important to note that you do NOT need to provide any sensitive or classified information – and I don’t even want to see it! I’ve dealt with so many projects in my career that we’ll be able to identify the key risks and mitigation strategies without going beyond themes and publicly available information. I’m not interested in getting anyone in privacy-related trouble, myself included!
  • One monthly group Q&A call: Use this to get hotseat feedback on your top focus for the month. As a group, we can map out the topics in advance, or we can take them as issues arise for members. As a back-up, my coaching program will always be available as a guide.
  • One monthly group 30-minute deep dive call: To deep-dive into any topic that members highlight. Often, Mastermind members like to use these calls for laser-focused coaching, strategy map-outs, or detailed reviews.
  • A Mastermind-only WhatsApp group: So you can ask / talk about anything and everything (like delivery issues, reporting, staffing, funding, mindset, collaboration challenges, political decisions, team composition, wavering confidence, changing goals, and more) with me and your fellow Masterminders.
  • Supplemental trainings: You’ll also get heavily discounted life-time enrolment to my future course and training offerings. You’ll have first access to every one of them – at a rate far, far below the public’s.

“Safe Space” Audits

We all know how nerve-wracking an audit can be – especially if it’s from an external agency. Not only does your entire team have to stop what they’re doing and re-dedicate their energy to presenting their work “just right” to someone else, but all of the results get presented to oversight committees – and might even get published for the world to see.

But what if you could discover your major issues while they were still internal? What if you could leverage the expertise of a global risk leader’s eye without the formality and intense resources of a full-blown audit?

In other words: what if you could get all the benefits of an audit – without any of the downsides?

Each engagement would be tailored differently to suit your needs, but all would include:

  • Kick-off call: We’ll start with an introductory call, either with just yourself or key members of your team. Here, you’ll tell me a bit about your project and what challenges you’ve encountered so far. This will be purely conversational, and won’t require any formal preparation on your end – just your insight.

  • Tailored strategy: Using our kick-off call, I’ll present a plan for attack, giving you and your team the opportunity to highlight where you could benefit most, and what I should focus on.
  • Targeted interviews with key players: I’ll spend some time with those who can offer the most insight. We’ll discuss and agree on the list of interviewees beforehand to make sure we cover your biggest areas of concern, as well as those individuals that my experience and gut tell me will be important to your success.
  • Detailed action plan: In place of a formal “audit report,” you’ll receive detailed summaries of what I’ve observed, and some action items you can put in place to get things back on track. The best part about it? No formal management action plan to develop, and no progress reports against implementation – gain the wisdom and use it as you see fit!
  • Go-Forward Call: Using the action plan, we’ll have one closing meeting where you can ask any questions you like, and where we can start to brainstorm how to move forward with addressing the action plan. This is a great opportunity to bring the “what” into the “how,” and energize your team with concrete plans to cure what ails your project.
  • Heavily discounted follow-up coaching: Have some additional questions down the road, or some major changes to your project that raised new risks? We’ll use the previous work to shortcut the “getting-to-know-you” phase and focus on your hot-button issues – at a price not available to anyone else.

Custom Training

  • Kick-off call: We’ll start with a private call, either with yourself or with your team of senior leaders. We’ll discuss where your teams skills and knowledge gaps are, as well as your resource (both time and budget) flexibility. On this call, we’ll sketch out a way forward.
  • Custom-developed training plan: Building off of our kick-off call, I’ll develop a custom training plan for your team. This will be built around you and your team, and what you need – no hard sells, here. There won’t be any “packages” or “tiers” to unlock: your custom solution will be built according to what you need – that’s it.
  • Training solutions: Your custom training plan will include proposed training solutions that are the most likely to hit your team’s learning goals. To ensure the plan gets your team everything it needs, the plan will also factor in some key, pre-agreed upon specs:
  • Focused or broad – or both? Do you have an extremely specific learning goal that can be squeezed into an afternoon? We’ll tailor our content to stick to practical activities and conceptual headlines. Need several days – or even weeks? Our broad selection of topics operate on a learning continuum, and are designed to bring participants on a purposeful and productive journey.
  • Team of beginners or experts? Our training solutions can be honed to suit the needs of seasoned project “veterans,” or complete newbies straight out of school. We have thousands of hours of experience teaching to all types of learners, and we have the content to make sure everyone comes away with something new.
  • In person or online? We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for your team and your budget. Need to build a cohesive team spirit while we learn? We’ll find the best in-person activities and learning arrangements to take your team to the next level. You need the flexibility to get going no matter where your team members are located? We’ll pop online and hit your learning goals remotely.
  • Training materials: Your team will take ALL of the training materials back with them, so that they can refer to the lessons whenever they need them. Some course providers guide their intellectual properties under lock and key, but if you can’t bring the materials with you, how can you really bring the knowledge with you? Let’s keep building your team’s learning momentum.
